North Korean Ambassador Mr Chon Jae Hong and South Korean Ambassador Mr Cho Sang Hoon made a major symbolic gesture towards peace when they exchanged views and shook hands recently. This breakthrough with the Korean Diplomats is the latest among a number of on-going world wide initiatives by the Universal Peace Charity Foundation (Movement.)

Grand Master Kimm was invited to join a small delegation to Israel as an extension of the Universal Peace Movement’s interest in and commitment to supporting environmental improvement. He was able to view local water conservation and recycling practices. The trip also provided an opportunity to introduce the work of the Universal Peace movement to the people of Israel. He was then invited to the Israeli Military Academy where he demonstrated Hapkido techniques with selected veteran members of the Academy who wanted to learn new skills. The Principle General of the academy General Gal and many of the academy professors and trainee officers were present at this demonstration. In 1998, Grand Master Kimm was invited to Dharamsala by His Holiness the Dalai Llama to discuss Hapkido and Sundo seminars. In 2002, Grand Master Kimm and a small Universal Peace delegation travelled at their own expense to Dharamsala. There Grand Master Kimm donated his time and expertise to provide training and seminars for His Holiness The Dalai Llama’s bodyguards, monks and exiled students, for 4 sessions a day for 15 days, from 6am till 10pm daily.
